Welcome to The NYC 20's, 30's and 40's Group. We are a fun group of young, professional adults from the NYC tri-state area who come together to make connections, build new friendships, etc.
Our diverse events include: happy hour drinks, themed parties, sporting/recreational events, theater shows, museums, and many other fun activities.
We aim to be a caring and compassionate group where people will be respectful of each other despite different backgrounds, interests, values, and beliefs. Come join us, and broaden your social horizon, as we seek to be the bridge to bring people together.
This group is open to all - singles, married people, new-in-towners, and people who have been in the tri-state area for a while and are simply looking for a new group to go out with in NYC. Membership is FREE, and you only have to be friendly and fun to join!

• What if it rains? The boat will sail rain or shine! The boat has two levels. Both levels have covered outdoor and heated areas (if needed).• What times does yacht depart/return? Boarding 6pm, Sail 6:30pm. Yacht returns to Marina at 9:30pm. Please arrive early so you don't miss it.
• Where do I park? There is paid parking at the marina, or you can try to find parking on the street.
• What are the ages? Good mix of all ages 21 and over.
• Can I come alone? Yes, about 90% come on their own.

This is the perfect event to meet singles from the tri-state area - all from the comfort of your own home. Get to meet people online before meeting them in person! You will meet singles via your computer with webcam or smartphone/tablet (strong WiFi connection required if using a phone).
HOW DOES IT WORK?
We will break participants into pairs of two, just like we do with traditional speed dating. You will get to speak to each dates for a specified amount of time (typically 4-6 minutes). After the specified number of minutes, the guys will rotate to the next date and the process continues.
Just like with traditional speed dating, at the end of the event you will be able to let us know who you were interested in. We will send you both mutual matches (you picked them and they picked you) as well as one way matches (they picked you but you did not pick them).
You are given 20 minutes from the end of the event to let us know who you are interested in and will receive the results the same night (usually within one hour) or the next morning. You will not have to wait 24 hours or more to get your results.
The minimum number of potential dates will be 5 and the maximum will be about 10. If there are less than 5 members of the opposite sex in attendance, you will get credit for a future virtual event.
How do I find the Zoom Room?
After you purchase your ticket, you will get a confirmation appear on your screen along with the Zoom link for you to use to log in.
Cost? Between $23-$25 depending on how early you register.

WHAT IS THIS EVENT ALL ABOUT?
This is entirely new and revolutionary type of event for singles! We love the idea of traditional speed dating but sometimes it's hard to come up with things to talk about. That's why at a Dating Games Online Speed Dating Game Night you'll have fun, easy games to play to get to know everyone instead of dealing with the usual dating "job interview" type questions. We find that it's a much better way to get to know someone! You'll be put in Zoom breakout rooms with a small group of singles and you'll play games that will help you get to know each other. Some rounds you may be with small groups of 4 to 7 people and some rounds you may be 1 on 1 with someone of the opposite gender much like traditional speed dating. Essentially, you'll work with the other people as a team and compare answers with the other teams. Each round we change up the teams to make sure you get to meet and get to know everyone in attendance (we explain the games in more detail below).HOW THE MATCHING WORKS:
Similar to traditional speed dating, at the end of the event the host will explain how you can keep in contact with anyone that you are interested in seeing again. The fun games are set up to break the ice, help you gauge compatibility, make quality connections and to have a really fun night. An example game we like to play is "Dating Feud" which is similar to the popular prime time TV show we all know. In this game you and your group will be asked fun relationship style questions like, "Name a gift that women love men to give them". You will work together with a small group of singles to come up with what you think is the most popular answer and then you'll find out if you got the top answer. Another game we might play is called Blank Slate. In Blank Slate the host will show you a word followed by a blank. For example: Chicken _________. You'll write down a word that follows the word Chicken such as "Soup". Essentially you're trying to predict what will be a popular answer. We do different fun games at each event we throw! Another game we play is "Would You Rather" where we ask you fun questions like "Would you rather live the rest of your life without ever being able to watch a movie ever again or would you rather never be able to listen to any song/music again?". You answer the question and then you have to try and pick the most popular answer. You're then brought back from the breakout room into the main room to hear how everyone else answered the question. It's so much fun!Thousands of people have met at our events and we've witnessed countless relationships and friendships formed. In fact, because you really get to know people during the games, the chances of meeting someone at a Dating Games Online Speed Dating Game Night are much higher than online dating apps or traditional speed dating events.

For many years we organized in person traditional speed dating events. While waiting for everyone to show up, the host would do some icebreaker style games to "Kill time" until everyone arrived. We noticed something fascinating begin to happen. People got to know each other better and made more connections during the games than they did during the actual speed dating rounds! The games sparked so much conversation and laughs that we thought, "Wow, we should make an entire event like this!". HOW MANY WILL BE PARTICIPATING?
We expect a total of about 25 people to attend each event.
IF I ATTENDED A PAST DATING GAMES ONLINE SPEED DATING GAME NIGHT, CAN I SIGN UP FOR THIS ONE?
Yes, In fact we never use repeat questions and we always change up the games so feel free to sign up with as many of our upcoming events as you'd like and meet more people!
HOW DO I JOIN THE EVENT?
After you sign up on to Eventbrite we will send you a Zoom link with an invitation to join the event. We'll email you that link by the day of the event. If for some reason you don't see an email from us by the event date, make sure to check your spam folder in case it ended up there by accident.
WHAT DO I NEED TO ATTEND?
All you need is your computer or your smart phone or tablet (Computer or tablet is recommended over a phone)

The age range listed is a suggestion. If you're within a few of years older or younger than the listed age range, you're welcome to attend.
