  • Oct 6, 2014 · 10:00 AM
  • West Branch Angler Resort

[Guest posted on behalf of Stefan Hornburg (Racke)]

DO NOT RSVP ON MEETUP.COM — you must register via the website below.

The Perl::Dancer Conference is a high quality, inexpensive event organized by the Interchange Development Group.

The goal is to learn about modern and professional web, database and eCommerce applications written in Perl.

We are going to have two days of training on Monday and Tuesday. The main conference days with presentations are on Wednesday and Thursday.

Experts are going to be presenters at this event, main speakers so far are Sawyer X (Dancer core developer) and Peter Rabbitson aka ribasushi (DBIx::Class master mind). We are looking for additional interesting talks, possible topics are Modern Perl, Dancer, DBIx::Class, security, testing and best practices.

More information can be found on the website or requested by email to [masked].

I'd love to go, but don't think I can make it - but definitely, if we can get an event in NYC I'd love to attend (happy to chip in for expenses, if needed) :)

I'll be reaching out to them as well as racke, but if you're really set on seeing them, I'd recommend a trip to Hancock.

It's not that I want to see them, I want a bunch of other people to be able to see them. Sawyer has told me he can come out Tuesday, October 7. Can we set up a social meeting for that night?

That's a question for David Adler.
