Why did you decide to join this book club?

The category of banned books is especially interesting to me because I consider myself to be a libertarian. I want to get back into reading and meet and learn from others who like to read. I am also hoping to increase my reading speed since I have not read for fun in a while.

Do you have any banned book suggestions?

I have none at the moment, but I will definitely let the group know if I come across a good title.

What types of books do you usually read? (Favorite books, genres, etc.)

Some Favorites: Journey to the end of the Night; Cry, the Beloved Country; Their Eyes Were Watching God I like a wide range of books, from those that are emotionally moving to books that feature dark humor and are violent. I really just want to read books that will make me think, not those that are just happy tales.

Hi! I'm a recent college graduate and I'm getting back into reading for fun. Banned books sound right up my alley. I am excited for the books and discussions.
