Where all small and toy breed dogs can get together and have play dates and owners can share advice and friendship. Our group meets in North Calgary ONLY>
I don' t know about the rest of you, but when I take Lucie to the doggie park, more often than not I see 10 big dogs for every 1 small fry wandering around. Wouldn't it be great for our dogs to be able to spend some time at the doggie park playing with dogs their own size? That's what this group is all about.
Once the bad weather hits us, I'll be looking for indoor venues for our doggies to meet and play in because let's face it, like us they need to socialize even when the weather stinks.
We'll be posting information on the site related to things like the raw food diet (B.A.R.F.), alternatives to vaccines and why you might want to consider them, supplements to doggie's regular food etc. Please note that the author is not a veterinarian and has no medical training. The information is provided as general information only and it is up to each individual dog owner to determine what is suitable for their pet and to do their due diligence before proceeding.
When at this meetup, please remember to pick up after your dog and keep an eye on him or her so they don't get overly enthusiastic with the smallest fries attending.
(Please note each owner is responsible for the care of his or her dog during all gathering/meetups. any incidences that may occur as a result of attending this Small Breed meetup gathering cannot be held against the Meetup group or its organizer. By attending a gathering/meetup you acknowledge this fact and will not hold liability against anyone other then yourself. This includes, but is not limited to, illness, injury and such issues)
Why is there a charge to meet up at the park? Because meetup.com charges me money to have this webpage on their site. I only take enough money to cover my costs, so thanks for your support with keeping your meetup group active!! :-)
This group doesn't have any upcoming Meetups scheduled.
