In light of the events currently occurring downtown, and the resulting: uncertainty, closures, disruptions and lockdowns, including at our speaker's office building, we have made the decision to postpone the Meetup.

Getting started with WordPress development

Ready to start customizing WordPress but aren’t quite sure where to start? This presentation will help get you going in the right direction by showing you some tools, talking about some Gotcha's and providing an introduction to some code.

Presented by: Ryan Welcher, a web developer with over 10 years experience working for Mediaplus Advertising here in Ottawa.

This is an introductory level talk for anyone who is interested in learning how to begin customizing WordPress.

This is a meetup in our "Not Beginner" series. This series of talks is for WordPress (or related) presentations that are not at a beginner level. Anyone at any experience level is welcome to attend, but there will be an assumption in the presentations and discussion that attendees have some knowledge of WordPress.
