Hump Day Hike: Rosewood Trail to Angel Vista

Details
This is a very pleasant, fairly short hike up to a wonderful lookout point called Angel Vista, where you can see the 101 corridor and nearby Boney Mountain. If it's a clear day you can also see the Channel Islands quite easily. Here is a link to a sunset video I shot a few months ago from this location: CLICK ME (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7wG4xTkE94&feature=c4-overview&list=UUVkuQaJapfugOWc3MQSdtEw). From the (free) street parking we'll get on the hidden, but quite nearby Rosewood Trailhead. We'll follow this trail with a steady climb the entire way until we reach a multi-way trail junction. There is a trail marker there and we'll take the trail up and to the RIGHT, which will continue for perhaps another 200 yards until we reach Angel Vista, which has a bench and even picnic tables! It will be shortly after sunset when we reach the top, but still light.
It will be DARK on the way down, so bring a flashlight or headlamp.
Note: It's quite possible that I will go to the trailhead at 5 pm and do this exact hike, arriving back at the trailhead to do it again with the group at 6:30. If I do so, I will leave a comment here the day of the hike in case you'd like to join me for that warm-up hike. Again, quite likely, but not guaranteed, so please check the comments first.

Directions: From the 101 take the Ventu Park exit and go South toward the ocean. At Lynn Road turn right. VERY soon you will pass an open space on your left. Watch for the entrance to Regal Oak Ct on your left, where you will turn...um...left. Take it all the way to the end and park. This is a neighborhood, so let's try to be somewhat restrained. We will meet not quite at the end of the road, where we will cross a fence to the trail and find the trailhead which is somewhat hidden, but certainly there.
