Hump Day Hike on Rocky Peak

Let's do Rocky Peak for this week's Hump Day Hike. The nighttime views are pretty wonderful, and you can see the SF Valley as well as Simi Valley at various points. The trail is easy to follow, though steep at the beginning and near the top. I may need people to push me from behind because I have been gone for 7 weeks and sedentary for most of it. Let's see if I can even do this hike anymore (you think?). Wear something warm if you get chilly at night.

Elevation Gain: approx. 1200'
Difficulty: Intermediate
Dogs: Yes, if leashed
Parking: Free on both sides of Rocky Peak Road exit off the 118
Trail: Fire road, excellent condition
Moonrise: 7:48 pm, 88% illumination

Known Dangers: Slip-'n-fall
