Hump Night to Castle Peak

We have not done this particular hike on a Wednesday evening before, although we have gone to Castle Peak more than once and also at night (2nd picture).

Length: 5.0 miles
Elevation: 700 ft
Difficulty: Moderate with Rock Scrambling
Dogs: No
Bathroom at Trailhead: No
What to Bring: Water, Snacks, Sweater/Jacket, and Flashlight.

On this hike we will go past, but not into the Cave of Munits because it will be too dark and dangerous to go there at night. But we will hike clockwise around it until we reach Castle Peak (first picture, but in daylight) and its magnificent views. If it's a clear night, which is likely this time of year, the night views are better than the daytime views, so come with cameras and the wonder of a child seeing beauty for the first time. It's a BREATHTAKING view at night!!!
