We Perth chapter ladies are lucky enough to be offered an opportunity to read a bonus book, which is not on the 2013 TGBC reading list. The book is written about a real life experience, by a mentor of one of our regular chapter members.

About Pat

Pat Grisson is a teacher in Houtson, Texas, with a remarkable story. After retiring from teaching at a community college in May of 2011, she wrote a book exploring & detailing her experience after being kicked out of her home 3 months into her marriage so her husband could marry his first sweetheart from 32 years ago ..... But that's just the beginning of the story.

Bonus Book Details

Pat's book is called Too much gold to flush.

We will be purchasing copies of the book directly from Pat at a hugely discounted rate, & making a donation to a local Women's Refuge at Pat's request.

Book purchase price is being set at ~$18, & is inclusive of book, shipping cost from the US & donation to a local Women's Refuge .

Venue & Discussion with Author

We will be hosting a discussion with Pat via Skype link.

Details of the venue will most likely be at private residence, & will be communicated with chapter members closer to the event, & outside of our Meet Up website for privacy reasons.

Payment & Other Details

If you would like to participate in the bonus book read, please comment with you interest in the event before

Monday, 26 August.

Final numbers will then be tallied so we can organise bulk purchase directly with Pat, & have the books sent in one large shipment so you have plenty of time to read it before our meeting in August. Payment will need to be made via PayPal, & will again be communicated privately to participating members.
