No sadly, which is the reason I'm joining
Not yet, but I do plan to build it myself
I've created a few crude models but I have honestly been waiting to build the printer before truly diving into creating useful 3D models. Currently working on the parts for an aesthetically pleasing, affordable, and functional 3D printed book scanner
I've been interested in 3D printing (primarily RepRap related) and 3D scanning for the last three years, which is how long ago I first heard about the technological movement.
I'm honestly hoping to find someone in the local area who is able to both A) help me choose the correct make for my first printer, and B) print the parts needed to build it... preferably at a price obtainable by a college student... But more than that to learn the process by watching someone else instead of on my own.
I'm a computer science major at Rutgers Camden
