What is your main interest about knowing things?

Interest? Or need? Intendent Caesars don't get it in the way I need it. Many people get through some sort of life without it. Some treat it like the contents of a cabinet of curiosities.

Would you prefer to email me confidentially about any ideas for discussion so I can ask those questions without others knowing about you?

Sure, but anything I say here is ok for the public domain.

What is your understanding about philosophy in general? Please, provide an explanation of what it means to you, no need to look it up in the dictionary, understanding is personal and what you think is very valuable.

The most important question: Why?

Is there anything that you would prefer not to discuss in public because of your principles, religion or simply not feeling like talking in public?

No. Philosophical inquiry and discussion ought be couteous but never complaisant.

Recently completed a degree with a double major in philosophy and art history and theory. To "Know Thyself" is one of the biggest questions. But knowing is not an inert attainment. To come to know is to be being.
