ABSTRACT
Basic business concepts transcend times, cultures and technology; the principles of sales, management and profits are the foundation of any trade and photography is no exception. With over twenty-five years of a successful profession Robert Lino will share the schemes that made his business succeed and the changes that the times have imposed.
This course will cover marketing and business concepts, presentation and price lists design, understanding the real assets of our business as well as a review of the basics of portraiture, for a 100% Lino Experience.
Robert Lino Bio
Robert Lino is internationally known for his professional journey and his photographic achievements but more so for his distinctive portraiture and his unique ability in the art of posing. His images have been selected for art gallery exhibits and his articles and professional profile have been featured in photography publications and books. He has been a speaker, print judge and business consultant for major professional associations, presenting educational seminars throughout the U.S., Canada, Spain, England and Latin America. Participants in these courses often describe him as someone who “really teaches in simple terms”.
Robert Lino has been awarded the ASP Fellowship –the highest earned award of the profession; the Photographic Master and Craftsman Degrees and the Professional Photographer Certification from PPA; as well as the Accolade of Photographic Mastery, Accolade of Outstanding Photographic Achievement and the Accolade of Exceptional Photographic Achievements from WPPI; the Florida Degree of Photographic Excellence and the Florida Service Award. The Mexican Society of Professional Photographers awarded him with the Honorary Master Degree, and the Honorary Mentor Degree in Puerto Rico.
He was named “Best Latin American Photographer” in 1996 by “Foto Imagen” Magazine. His first book “Wedding Poses” was published in 1997 and he is currently working on a portrait posing book and a series of educational DVDs.
