The Queens Literati is a safe haven for avid readers who find themselves searching for a new book or an intelligent literary society. Maybe you're tired of joining group after group, reading the same kinds of uninspired young adult novels that leave you feeling... well, childish. Maybe you're looking for the opportunity to read a challenging book and follow it up with an insightful discussion. Maybe you're a recent Queens transplant looking to make new friends in the area. Maybe the sudden appearance of overstocked chick lit sections in your local bookstore has got you grinding your teeth at night. Maybe you just need a good excuse to get a little tipsy and eat great carb-loaded food with fun people (we're not here to judge). Whatever your reason, we're here for you.

Every month we meet to discuss a critically lauded book, eat some fabulous Queens fare, and get to know one another. Books are chosen by popular vote, and member suggestions are ALWAYS welcome.
