First I wanted to start by saying that I hope everyone had a safe and fun St. Patricks day!  Just a reminder of the events for the week.

Tonight we've got our meet and greet Monday with a side of comedy at the Downtown pub and grill.  The meet and greet starts at 6:30 and the show will start at around 8.  There are going to be some free appetizers for everyone to share.  Let your friends know about this and bring them out as well.  While the show is free, you should probably bring some cash.  The show is a charity show where the comics will pass around a tip jar at the end of the night, tip the ones you like the best and the winner will get to choose where all of the tips are donated.

On Wed, it's business as usual with Trivia and Karaoke, not sure where we'll go for the karaoke afterwards, but it's always a pretty good time.

Next Monday we're trying out a new bar called "The Well"  Located on Glenwood near little five points, this bar is a pretty nice place.  They've agreed to put out some food for us there as well.

ALso one of our members has asked me to share the following with everyone.

BEER LOVERS!!! This one is for you!

All About Beer Magazine's World Beer Festival is coming to Raleigh Saturday, April 13th!

We are in need of a large number of volunteers for the event, and if hanging out with beer for a few hours sounds like a good day to you, this is the wonderful volunteer opportunity for you!

At each Festival, we benefit a local charity we've chosen for their contribution to the vibrancy of their city.  For the third year, Artsplosure is our benefactor, and we are so proud and impressed by their growing impact in Raleigh.  Not only do they produce the much-beloved Artsplosure Festival, they also orchestrate First Night on New Years Eve.

Volunteers, in addition to supporting Artsplosure, will receive:

- a half year subscription (three issues) of All About Beer Magazine
- a Festival Volunteer t-shirt
- an invitation to the Volunteer Appreciation Party with complimentary food and beer

Plus, meet fun, new people!
