Tuesday with the Wildflowers at Wildwood

Hello Ladies!

I wanted to give you some information for our Wildwood Green member group "The Wildflowers". This is a group of ladies that plays each Tuesday, currently starting at 9:00 AM as a shotgun. This member group would welcome any ladies from the Meetup that would like to play. Here are their rules on participating:

Each player is asked to have an established handicap. If you do not have a handicap a few recent scores will be suitable for the first two times you want to play with the ladies. Current handicaps for this league range from about 12 - 34.

The Wildflowers will allow you to play with them twice before you have to join their organization. Cost to join is $35 due on an annual basis. Any golfers who are not members of Wildwood Green will have to pay for any green and cart fees on the day of when applicable.

Each person will put $5 into "The Kitty", before play starts, which will be the payout for the game at the end of the round. Games vary from week to week and this past week was Lowest Putts. Other games include 2 Net Balls, Lady Cha Cha Cha and String Ball among others.

You must sign up by Monday night before the event to get onto the sign up sheet. You would then need to be at Wildwood before 9:00 AM to check in, pay and find out where you will be starting. If you would like to bring a guest they are welcome as well, and you may request to play with each other. I would like to keep requests to two people as the Wildflowers would like to meet as many of you as possible.

This really is a fun group of ladies who are not extremely competitive. The handicaps should not scare you as they are used for the fun game and to make pairings. Again, handicap ranges are from about a 12-34 handicap.
