November 8th Meeting

I am very happy that many of you found Oct 11th so helpful. Many of you indicated a desire to continue on where we left off. Please bring the packets we handed out at the last meeting !!!

That said, we will first quickly review a few key points such as camera setup, the function of aperture, ISO, shutter and how they are best adjusted for a particular photographic scenario. We will also review how changing the lens focal length may sometimes affect the above.

Next, if available, we will (using my now healthy laptop) tap the internet for several very helpful illustrations, animations & video clips to reinforce the above concepts.

From there, we will move on and tackle your camera's HISTOGRAM, a tool by which we can obtain assistance in evaluating our photo exposure. If time permits, we may also cover more with metering and how to get your camera to lock the meter reading !! We will once again move around the upper level and experiment with our new findings.
