January 10th Meeting

Thanks to all for attending last nights meeting. I hope you now have a better handle on dlsr metering modes & how to use exposure compensation with them, particularly evaluative metering. Also let's thank John for his great presentation on macro photography & "painting with light". In addition, Steve and I are proud to announce that John has graciously agreed to join us in the capacity as "assistant organizer".

We have the following agenda planned for the Jan 10 meeting:
a) using "spot metering" (ambient light only)
b) using "exposure or meter lock" (ambient light only)
c) a preview of available software for photo processing
d) useful ideas to consider regarding photographic composition
