The importance of semantic technologies and linked data for media companies is straightforward, and two major stakeholder: New York Times and BBC are early adopters of them.
In this meetup we host Evan Sandhaus, technologist at the New York Times. He embraces Linked Open Data
for his company in the publishing and news industry. In addition, Evan is a member of the leadership team at the New York Semantic Web meetup group.
