How Movies Work’s Cecilia Russell and UCLA’s Teacher of the Year 2009 Peter Russell will first show you the patterns of a great drama by using scenes from SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK, JUNO, THE WRESTLER and AMERICAN BEAUTY – and then we will use those patterns to create a great character and a great movie story all together, using HMW’s STORYMAKER, and HMW Tools like Core Wounds, 5 Traits, and the Dark to Light. This isn’t just a lecture, it’s also a living story creation, in real time, in this room — starring you and your talent – this afternoon. Come write a great movie with us!
