Welcome, Seattle After Effects Users!

My group is about AfterEffects artists and Photoshop artists coming together to experience and learn what happens when more than one production house receives certain shots for a feature film. How does the look and feel of all shots assembled back together from the different artists from around the world appear seamless like in ‘Superman Returns’ and hundreds of other CGI and composite based films and have it look flawless. It’s about seeing how you and your skills would fit into a major Hollywood pipeline. We are all about the ‘who does what and when?’ questions. So the primary focus of this group is for its members to help build a real digital effects pipeline together and run it using 8 processor machines and uncompressed footage. It’s a massive experience and procedure. The pipeline is heavily reliant on Adobe AfterEffects, Photoshop, and VFX Nexus - a web-based solution for visual effects studios of all sizes - to collaborate and track their entire workflow.
