Microsoft Redmond Campus (map)
Please note: We're still looking for an HTML 5 speaker for this month's meetup. In the meantime, here's something that might of interest to you.
Calling all Puget Sound JavaScript Developers!
Microsoft User Research is inviting JavaScript Developers from the Puget Sound area to participate in several upcoming user research studies. This is a great opportunity to be heard by Microsoft User Researchers and influence the next generation of Microsoft products!
Studies will take place on Microsoft’s Main Campus in Redmond and last three hours. Various dates and times are available starting Thursday, February 2nd. Their scheduling team will work with you to find a time that works. Each participant will be offered two pieces of new Microsoft software, hardware or games from a current list of our most popular products.
If you want to give input and feedback on the next generation of Microsoft products, send the following information to [masked] with “Developer” in the subject line:
1. Name/Phone Number:
2. Job Title/Company:
3. Are you a JavaScript Developer? What is your level of JavaScript experience? (Beginner, Intermediate, Expert)
4. How often do you use Visual Studio?
Please forward this opportunity to friends and colleagues who might be interested in participating in Microsoft User Research Studies.
To be considered for other research opportunities, sign up online at www.microsoft.com/UserResearch
Point taken and noted Kimberly. As noted at the beginning of the description, we're hard at work putting together a meetup on HTML 5 and thought this event would be a good placeholder to keep interest in the group.
This meeting at 0800 AM ? Just confirming. Also, what is the exact location ?
Hi Ashok--follow the link above for more info about the user research study or contact the organizers at the email address above. This is an ongoing event starting on 2/2.
Well, I can't find an email address, and there's no further details that I can track down (beyond "1 Microsoft Way"), so I guess I won't be making this one. My apologies, I guess.

That's a cut and paste from the description of the event.

A user research study for Microsoft is not a meetup. And I say that as a user researcher :P
