Hello,

This group originally started as a pregnant and single group since I had been looking for a meet up for those that were pregnant & single but had no luck finding a group. However, now that my little one is 5 months old I've decided to change the group to a 'Single Mom' group (although those who are Pregnant and Single can still join). I'm looking to meet other new moms who find themselves in the same place - a new, single mom (no matter what your situation may be). I'd like to meet up for advice, support and hold regular social gatherings for ourselves and our little ones. Meet ups may include grabbing a weekend lunch, a walk in the park, a playdate at Gymboree, or anything else that may come up. I'm always open to suggestions.

I look forward to meeting other new moms or moms to be who can relate to my situation and hope we can create a positive platform to keep eachother lifted and hopefully our little ones can meet new friends :)
