Entrepreneur/Author James Altucher will speak on his new book "I was Blind But Now I See." James has been nice enough to offer one free copy of his new book for the first 30 people who attend!! The book addresses brainwashing that has been instilled into us since birth, and how to break free from it. The talk includes many personal stories of James making it and failing as an entrepreneur, and is filled with real world examples. If you read his blog you know he is brutally honest, kind, and funny as well as an excellent storyteller. His blog is personally one of my favorites on the web. I will post some links to his articles and site below. James will talk for 30 to 45 minutes and take questions for 15.

Bio

James Altucher is a hedge fund manager and author. He holds a BS in computer science from Cornell University and a master's degree in the same subject from Carnegie Mellon University. Altucher is the founder of StockPickr, which was sold to TheStreet.com in 2007. He also was the founder of Reset, a developer of websites for entertainment companies (HBO, Miramax, New Line, BMG, Sony, etc), which was sold in 1998. He was a weekly columnist from 2004-2009 for The Financial Times,[1] and wrote articles for The Street.com,[2] Seeking Alpha,[3] and Daily Finance.[4] He has appeared on CNBC,[5] and has written several books on investing. Altucher is a frequent guest contributor to The Daily Ticker feature on Yahoo! Finance.
