Do you watch the direction that America is being taken in and feel powerless to stop it?

Do you believe that your voice isn’t loud enough to be heard above the noise anymore?

Do you read the headlines everyday and feel an empty pit in your stomach…as if you’re completely alone?

If so, then you’ve fallen for the Wizard of Oz lie. While the voices you hear in the distance may sound intimidating, as if they surround us from all sides—the reality is very different. Once you pull the curtain away you realize that there are only a few people pressing the buttons, and their voices are weak. The truth is that they don’t surround us at all.

We surround them.

Who are we?
Pay our debts with credit?
Buy more house than we can afford?
Print money to pay our bills?
Allow corruption in our government if it profits us?
Take from those that earn it to subsidize those that won’t?
Are there are jobs we won’t do?
Sell our children’s future to bailout billionaires?
Nationalize our economy to socialize our society?
Allow insurance companies to corrupt our healthcare system?
Sue McDonalds for making us fat?
Pass laws to protect us from ourselves?
Believe that we have a “right” to material things?
Subject a heckler at a political rally to more scrutiny than a political candidate?
Make our chief tax collector a man who wouldn’t pay his own?
Believe that it is fair to not keep score at children’s sporting events?
Not salute during the national anthem?
Use sensitivity as a conversation deterrent?
Not say the pledge of allegiance because it might offend someone?
Dictate strict accommodation of all points of view unless traditional?
Turn our backs on our allies and kneel before those sworn to destroy us?
Who are we really?
I know who I am and this isn’t it.
