Welcome to The Speaking Well Meetup Group, a place to practise your talks, presentations and speeches.
The Speaking Well Club provides a really friendly, positive, encouraging place to either overcome your fears or nerves when speaking or to gain confidence. In addition if you are already a confident speaker you are able to practise your speaking and become even better.
Feedback will be provided immediately following the meeting in a social setting and afterwards through the use of phone and email as agreed between members.
The Speaking Well provides a system that includes The Learning Well Memory Mapİ to boost your confidence and at the same time greatly improves your speaking, talking and presenting in public. If you are already a confident speaker your abilities can still be transformed.
You can use the techniques of The Speaking Well or prepare using any other method of your choice. It is entirely up to you how you prepare or practise and The Speaking Well members will help you to improve.
The meetings provide members with the opportunity to speak for up to 5 minutes, with more time by arrangement.
You can also attend The Speaking Well Workshops, Seminars,Talks and other Events that teach you how to use The Learning Well Memory Map to organise your talk or presentation, remember it, and speak with confidence .
The booking page for these Events and what to do to book can be found at http://www.meetup.com/SpeakingWellEventsBooking/
As a special bonus for attending these Events, Members of The Speaking Well Meetup Group will receive a years FREE membership to the Speaking and communications website www.thespeakingwell.co.uk, worth £30.
On this expanding website you will find more information about the Memory Mapping technique, the 7 Paths to speaking well, and building your confidence and abilities when speaking.
Members can also access an internet TV channel to see themselves speaking at the meetings as a way of gaining even more feedback. It's amazing what you can learn by watching yourself speak.
