Welcome, Stamford Bicyclists!

Relax, kick back & meet other local cyclists in a social setting. Make friends, find riding buddies, participate in rigorous training sessions, or rip-up the trails...what ever you want. The Stamford Cyclist Meetup group is a motley crew of riders that meet up in the Stamford area to do various types of bicycling. We have mountain/off-road bikers that ride at Mianus Park after work during the week, and street riders that meet for casual rides around Stamford. We are interested in finding Racers that want to lead a more rigorous training ride, and we are always looking for people to join us and possibly lead recreational rides through out Connecticut and the neighboring states. We are interested in exploring the many bike routes and rail/trails in the area. We may also do multi-night bike touring.
This group is geared for those interested in cycling for fitness, competition, and recreation. Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced rides can be organized.
This group is in the organization stage. We will start planning rides in the spring when the weather begins to cooperate, but if we get a nice break in the weather we may do a ride or two before then.
