Second "Mini hackathon" Wikipoeia - free Big Data(base) for medical science

Hi all!

As Wikipoeia project grows we are even more hungry for your smart inputs.

Please consider to join a bunch of medical science disruptors in our serious demolition work!

(see more on Wikipoeia:[masked]?trk=myg_ugrp_ovr )

It is supposed to be a non-profit, open source Big Data project, in accordance with Wikimedia /Wikipedia principles and spirit.

The project aims to build a free database for new type of medical research, where all people may donate their health-related experience and where all de - identified data will be open to anyone to freely research on . (This part of project calls U-Science). Our project differ substantially from other projects as "Patients like me " etc

We are confident that this will radically change the medical research in the world like Foldit ,Wikipedia and Linux changed their respective sectors of the world.

As exciting as it is for us to work with this bold vision, likewise we are aware of our limits – all this is obviously much bigger than we can manage efficiently – and still – this must be done!

Therefore we announce our second "Wikipoeia mini hackathon” - approx 3-4 hours (incl lunch) on Sat Jan 18th and hope that you will join!

To have things moving forward I expect us to collect information and build a technical description, what functions we need (most of them were discussed, but none was written on paper). Also same goes for website, it sounds very simple, but without any detail it's impossible to finish even the first version: how do we store data (this part was easy for now), how do we store users? How does sign up form look like? How does login form look like? How many different login options do we want, and how many do we want for 1st version? Do we introduce user ranks and trust in first version? How to consume the collected data? Do we need a web page for researchers? How will it look like? Security/authentication? Interface for research? etc etc

Bring all notes you have, let's make some design doc.
