The 2012 Fotomassan is held from the 23th till the 25th of November at Stockholmsmässan in Älvsjö. This event is the largest Nordic photography market with exhibitions, and companies showing their latest equiptment.
On the stages and in the Fair’s other activities, professionals explain everything from fashion photography and image editing to the way a documentary photographer works and exactly what makes a good picture good. Many exhibitors opt to open a fair shop in their stand so well if your still looking for something missing in your photography equiptment collection this is the place to be.
The enterance fee is 150kr for adults and 80kr for student (with a student ID). For more info check http://sthlm.fotomassan.se.
I have never been before so I don't know what is best, order online or buy tickets on the spot. Comments on this are highly appreciated!
My idea is to meet up at the enterance and enter the fair together. Then we can split up in groups, go by ourselves or whatever we want and explore the fair.
So join if this sounds interesting to you!

Just got home and it was very good. I would almost like to go again tomorrow to see the presentations I missed.

For the Canon users out there though I did see that they were offering cleaning so whoever told you they weren't was wrong.

Also, you can play with the Canon 6D and the Sony A99 which have not been released in Sweden yet.

I'm a bit of a stickler since I can get my camera gear overseas much cheaper but for those who are buying in Sweden you get 10% off if you buy at the fair.

Worth taking the time to look at the events taking place and choose the ones you want to see and plan your day around them. Go to the following link, ensureyou select Saturday 24th http://sthlm.fotomassan.se/for-...

There is so much going on at the mässan at the same time, good planning is vital. Also it is ok to bring your own food ;-)

I ask myself the same question as Antony Kim, I wouldn't like to be ticket-less if I go there without pre-purchased ticket!

Buying a ticket in advance will just save you time in the morning, so that you can be in to see the first event. The Mässan is huge. Bring your cameras, you can get a free clean.

I'll be there! Looking forward to it..and will also order tickets before- had. Anyone know how to reach the fair with public transportation? Also, from those who've been there before, any recommendations on must-sees?

Take the commuter train towards Sodertalje or Nynashamn. It's very easy and you can see it from the station.

Take the pendeltåg to Älvsjö. Go left down the hill and then left again. You cannot miss the exibition hall and I have never heard of it becomming full.

Here is the program for some of the events. From previous experience it's good to know before hand what you'd like to see so you can plan your day. And also if you want to get a seat, you get one 15 mins or so before ;-) http://sthlm.fotomassan.se/for-... scroll down to November 24
