Monday, October 1st, we are all in for a serious treat!
CEO Lloyd Melnick, of five one nine games, will be speaking at this meetup. Lloyd is an amazing speaker, and has accomplished major successes in the gaming world. Lloyd started and sold Merscom, which sold to Playdom, which was then bought out by Disney.
During that time Lloyd became the GM, International Publishing at Playdom/Disney, where he built and led the team responsible for bringing Playdom's games to India, Europe, Latin America, and Russia.
Lloyd has a lot to offer us in the mobile app space, and is ready to share it with you all!

Also, Founder and CEO Jud Bowman, of Appia, will be speaking at this meetup. Jud had already accomplished a lifetime of success in the mobile industry by the time most people finished college. He was the co-founder of Motricity, a public company, and was instrumental in growing the company to more than $100 million in annual revenue, and over 500 employees globally.
In June 2010, Motricity successfully completed a $50 million IPO co-led by Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan and achieved a market capitalization as high as $1.25 billion.
Jud has been named one of the world's "Top 100 Young Innovators" by MIT's Technology Review and one of "Tech's Best Young Entrepreneurs" by BusinessWeek in 2007. He was also recognized as a winner of the Ernst & Young "Entrepreneur of the Year" award in the Carolinas in 2001 and 2010.
