Farley's East

Let's do this Meetup in Oakland!!

Added the location of Farley's East. I'm looking forward to an East Bay meeting!!

We will allow the group to read your poem(s) and then provide feedback - lines that sounded good, something that might improve or impede the flow, etc. Then we can discuss. There might even be a part of the piece that you want particular feedback on.

It helps when you know you are 90% there but aren't sure how something might be received.

Please bring 10 or more copies of poetry you would like the group to read and provide feedback on.

I look forward to seeing everyone.

i've gone to meetup groups before in public places like coffee shops and had no way of knowing which table or space and who i was to be meeting with.... shall we all wear red shoes so we know who's in the group?? or will there be a small sign saying 'meetup' on the table...?

  I'll be the one with a rose in my teeth :-) I guess we'll all have copies of our poems, so we could wave those around until someone waves back with their papers (sadly, I don't have any red shoes)
