What we’re about
Founded in 2012, The Ukulele Assemble (Singapore) is for like-minded ukulele enthusiasts to meet for jam sessions, with a focus on ensemble arrangements. Think about The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain and The Langley Ukulele Ensemble, that's what we are looking at for The Ukulele Assemble.
The group operates on a "pay-it-forward" principle where members are encouraged to contribute in ways they can, to grow this group and make the jam sessions an enjoyable experience for all.
It's all about being in the community and giving/sharing as one receives from it.
We meet once a month for jam sessions and it's opened to members only. RSVP is required and done at meetup.com.
This group caters mainly for working adults and young adults at tertiary level. It is suitable for those who have some basic chord knowledge and own a ukulele. We do not conduct lessons at the jam sessions but if you're looking to learn the ukulele, you can email us for enquiries.
