The KookeeUkies Ukulele Club is a group of ukulele enthusiasts of all skill levels in the Southern Connecticut area who meet to play the ukulele, sing along, and learn from one another. Our songs range from Tin Pan Alley to present day. Many of our songs have come from Dr. Uke's website:  www.doctoruke.com, thank you Jim, Youtube.com - musicteacher2009, thanks Mike, also from chordie.com, and other ukulele websites.  There's a wealth of information online for ukulele enthusiasts.  

Lisa Brelsford and Chris O'Sullivan are organizers of the KookeeUkies. We play songs by Elvis, Johnny Cash, the Beatles, Arlo Guthrie, Peter, Paul, and Mary, Beach Boys, Iz, Colbie Callait, Jason Mraz, and a few traditional Hawaiian tunes. Members can bring additional songs to the meetup (bring 10-12 copies) for the group to play, and also play a song for the group.  Our 2010 Jam Songbook can be found by clicking on the "More" tab and then on "Files."   Check the calendar by clicking the "Meetups" tab and then "Calendar"for our next meetup date and location.
