PLEASE READ THIS ! The Umbrella Social Group is a voluntary group for high functioning young adults on the spectrum. We cater to the young adults that are out of high school and going to college or just trying to find their way in the adult world. We have get-togethers for young adults (18 and older) to meet others like them in a safe social setting doing fun things like bowling, hikes and exploration. We hope to get a large network of friends together regularly! The Umbrella Social Group is growing, so we now have a couple of simple actions you must take to become a member. It's easy to become a member, however, if you want to be a member you must post a suitable picture of yourself. Also, please fill in a little info about yourself. You cannot leave everything blank. Finally, you need to attend at least one event per year.
The Organizer's Monthly Message:
Hello Umbrella Group! My name is Jeff Windle, and I'm the organizer for the Umbrella Social Group.
I hope to provide the Umbrella Social Group with get togethers and adventures that are interesting and fun. I am hoping to have an event every month. Of course I will need a little help and support, so don't be shy about letting me know you would like to help out, or what types of outings you would like. I hope to post a new message next month with updates and progress.
