Join the premier singer songwriters circle based in Washington, D.C.! The Circle was founded by Tamara Kim in 2009, and continues to this day.

CONNECT with fellow songwriters, composers, lyricists, and also, singers and instrumentalists. You'll inspire and be inspired by other original and supportive artists like yourself.

During more-or-less monthly circles, you'll have the opportunity to PERFORM examples of your work; sometimes, we'll explore and discuss relevant issues and ideas of creativity, performance, collaboration, method, technology, and more.

During occasional JAMs, you'll get the chance to teach others a couple of your songs, and then play them together. This will give you an idea of what your song will sound like in a band setting, as well as what other instruments and techniques you can incorporate into your song.

If you're interested in Sharing, Networking, and Growing as a songwriter, or as a performing and recording music artist, this group is for you.

In beta mode: We encourage you to Post concisely your own circles and jams only -- no unrelated activities, please.

If you'd like to volunteer to LEAD one or more circles or jams through WSSC, please private message the main organizer. We're looking for songwriters as leaders who are patient and gracious, and who can demonstrate credentials, such as award wins (Wammies, SAW MASCs, Grammys, or other contests), music or songwriting teaching experience, charted songwriters, experienced and professional performing and recording artists, earning producers and the like.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
