Join us for a new Trailblazers adventure! Laurie has risked life, limb, and dignity to bring us a sparkling new hike, so let's turn out in numbers if only to make sure she finds her way back to civilization.
We'll gallop along (okay, trot)(canter?) White Horse Canyon Trail to the loop portion of our hike, finding Los Robles Trail and swinging back around to White Horse. 1200' of elevation gain along the way pulls us up to a ridge that provides views of Westlake, Las Virgenes Reservoir, Lake Eleanor, and Lake Sherwood- the most water we're apt to see on one hike that doesn't include the Pacific Ocean. There are ample mountain views, and a clump or two of diverse plant life tucked away.

The route is a 6 mile lollipop, and signs warning of armed responses will let us know if we've strayed into dangerous territory. More mundane concerns are sun exposure and some stretches of trail that are somewhat loose- bring hiking poles if you tend to favor them.
