Don T. A man of few words, and even fewer letters in his last name. A man so tough, he hikes on chemtrails. When Don T speaks, Chuck Norris listens.

Don T is saying to get yourself to the top of Reseda Boulevard and follow him on a loop through Topanga State Park. He uses words like Mulholland, Upper Rustic Canyon, Bay Tree Trail, Backbone Trail, and The Hub, though not all at the same time.

He says- or does he merely think it and you hear it?- 8.4 miles, and less than 2000 feet of elevation gain (how much less is inconsequential to him, so it should be to you, too).

Don T is too modest to mention that this hike is so good, Nancy Carpenter is coming all the way from Oregon to do it. He won't add that the least you can do is brave the 101 to get there. Chuck Norris is already waiting at the trailhead. http://photos1.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/d/a/6/8/event_88615912.jpeg

Directions:

Exit the 101 at Reseda Blvd (Exit 23) and drive south (toward the ocean) 3.5 miles. Go through the metal gate, but park before the yellow line in the street. After the yellow line, you have to pay.

Watch for speed traps on Reseda.
