Ken's Humpday Hike -- Oak Creek Canyon/ Angel Vista

This hike will be a moderately strenuous 7 mile OAB starting out at the Oak Creek Canyon Trailhead, and hiking through the Hope nature preserve along the Los Robles Trail. The hike will have an elevation gain/loss of 1000 ft. with open space views of the Conejo Valley, Hidden Valley, and the Pacific Ocean/ Channel Islands. We will stop at the Angel Vista rest stop/ picnic area to enjoy the views, take in a snack before heading back to the parking area.

Essentials:

Please wear – brush-resistant pants/shorts , one or more wicking shirts appropriate to the temperature, comfortable hiking shoes or light boots, your favorite undergarments and accessories, and a light backpack.

Please bring – at least two liters of water, snacks, an extra layer of clothing, a charged cell phone, identification, a headlamp, a small first-aid kit, bug repellant and sunscreen, a waterproof shell if rain is forecast, and any medications or anything else you might need on the trail.

Parking:

Free parking is available at parking lot at end of Greenmeadow Ave.

Please do not leave anything of value in your car, at this or any other trailhead.
