Biohackers meet Hardware/Software Hackers

Fab Lab San Diego wants to develop a collaboration with our DIYBio group and has invited us for a mixer on Saturday Feb. 8th at noon.  We will look at the possibility of getting some space in their location to begin our biology research, biohacking, algae bioreactor construction, workshops/classes and perhaps set up a small DIYBio lab.

Later, I think that I can get access to old lab robots and maybe in the future - old gene sequencers - which we can rip apart to see how they work and repurpose old parts. Lasers, pumps, robotics galore.  If we team up with Fab Lab members, it's easier to justify the costs, so come help make it happen.  This could be the break we are seeking to get our lab established. I think they can also help us build lab equipment too.

Join us at Fab Lab and help create our future! This includes BOTH those of you who have biology backgrounds and those that don't.

Kindly RSVP so we tell them whose coming. Bring anyone you like. Hope to see you there.
