Hello I'm Vincent,

I have taken over as organizer for this group since the previous organizer Mike Palmer has stepped down. I would like to thank Mike for getting this Meetup started! I am a relatively new member to this group so I look forward to meeting all of you.

I have added a Message Board for members. Please feel free to post suggestion for MeetUps there.

I wanted to have a Meetup before Thanksgiving so I scheduled one for Nov. 10th at Arlington National Cemetery, the day before Veteran's Day.

All meet ups will be held Monday - Friday. We can plan Meetups at different times of the work day, as well as days of the week, to accommodate as many people as possible.

I live in Stafford, VA but I would like have Meetups as far north as Baltimore MD, as far south as Richmond VA, as far east as Annapolis MD and as far west as eastern West Virginia. That's a large area so I know we can find great places to meet!

With Veterans Day coming I thought it would be nice to have a Meetup and walk through Arlington National Cemetery. We can meet at the Visitor's Center and decide where to go from there.

You can ride the Metro or park at the Visitor's Center Parking lot. Parking is $1.75 per hour for the first three hours and $2.00 per hour after that.
