All: something has come up, and I am going to have to move this event to Friday the 20th. I figured since this is close to Christmas, it will give you a better idea on what to bring to this party. Hope you can still make it!! Look forward to seeing you! Thanks!
People have been asking when I am going to have another wine/dessert pairing party, so I decided to have a Christmas party at my place. Let us explore our sweet tooth's by finding a good holiday dessert wine paired with your favorite dessert. Bring a bottle of your favorite holiday dessert wine (over $10 please), whether it be sparkling, port, ice box wine, a Pinot Noir or Grenache, etc. , and bring a good holiday dessert that pairs well with the wine you choose. Feel free to do research on the dessert wine that is perfect for the holidays and ask your local wine merchant for assistance as well.
I am limiting this event to 20 attendees, since my condo cannot hold a lot of people, and you will have to park on the street when you arrive at my place, because my complex does not have visitor parking spaces available, unfortunately. I am setting the start time at 8:00 p.m. so that people can have dinner before they arrive at my event. With the sugar content and the high alcohol % of ports and some of the dessert wines, you will need to have dinner before you come to this event!! I encourage you to use your best judgment and be safe when you attend this event and head home for the evening! Please utilize SafeRide or a cab if you are not fit to drive home!
IF you bring a ice box or sparkling wine, please be sure that the wine is chilled before you arrive at my place for the event. I will have an ice bin available to chill the wine if needed.
Please feel free to call me at[masked] if you have further questions about this event.
Let's enjoy the holidays with great desserts and good wine!
