The Benicia Autism Support Group was created by a small group of parents with children on the spectrum, out of a desire to create a more supportive environment in the City of Benicia for those with an ASD. As parents, we feel there is very little communication, resource information sharing and school support for our children. The diagnosis of an ASD is a very challenging and frightening experience for many parents. It is our hope that we can help relieve some of this anxiety and concern by showing others in the community that we are not alone.
