3 SPOTS LEFT! Mastering Landscape Photography with Ben Greenberg (Saturday Oct 27th)

From: Christian D.
Sent on: Tuesday, October 23, 2012 1:13 PM
Folks - we still have 3 slots left for this great workshop
<http://www.cphoto...; - which starts this Friday, 10/27

The goal of the workshop is to help persons interested in landscape and
nature photography learn how to improve their skills in capturing quality
images in the field. The workshop will provide opportunities to discuss
important aspects of capturing successful images, to take photographs in two
nearby locations during an afternoon of shooting, and to view and critique
photographs taken in the field. The critiques will permit an open discussion
by all participants and the sharing of help and advice by all. Emphasis will
be placed on such important characteristics of strong photographs as
composition, balance, lighting, exposure, and sharpness. Participants will
be expected to be thoroughly familiar with their camera equipment and its
usage. Either digital or film cameras may be used by participants, but the
experience will be enhanced with cameras that have the capability of
overriding automatic settings with manual choices.

Ben Greenberg is a lifelong resident of Virginia who moved back to
Charlottesville in 2002. He has photographed scenic locations throughout
Virginia and the nation for more than forty years. His photographs have won
local and national awards and competitions and have been featured in
numerous individual and group shows. His images can be found on his web
site,, and are available in central Virginia shows,
galleries and shops. Ben's dramatic photographs reflect his uncompromising
commitment to capturing the natural beauty of his subjects under the very
best conditions. This commitment frequently involves multiple trips to
shooting locations and the patience to wait until there is the perfect
combination of conditions, lighting and subject matter. As Ben likes to say,
"the harder I work, the luckier I get". Ben is well-known for his commitment
to mentoring and helping photographers interested in improving their skills
and their images. Join Ben in an interesting and inspiring weekend devoted
