Vegan Education @ Juilliard

Join Evolve For Animals as we take the message of truth, justice, and compassion to the students of the world-renowned Juilliard School. Outside this elite private conservatory of music, drama, and dance, we will convene to present these bright and creative minds with our “Vegan Lifestyle Guides” and our all-encompassing articulation for the abolition of animal commodification, “Veganism and The Case for Animal Rights” literature.

    Dear NYC Animal Advocacy Network,

I'm a first-time participant. And I'm not sure what I did wrong today, but I was in front of the Juilliard School this afternoon from 3:50 to 4:15, and didn't see anyone around. And because this is my first time, I didn't know who to look for or what anyone looked like, yet there really weren't any people gathered in front of the school for me to inquire. So I went inside the building to ask if anyone knew anything about an animal rights gathering inside. They didn't, and they asked me to wait outside (which was a little off-putting). So, I did, continuing to wait until 4:15, and then assuming that either no one was going to show up or I was in the wrong spot (I was right in front of the Juilliard School.), I left.

What happened? I feel kind of foolish. Did I wait in the wrong place? Wasn't the Juilliard School where we were supposed to meet?

Hey Jean, So sorry you couldn't find us today, let's make sure it goes smoothly next time- you can always call me (the number is listed in the event description) and, also, the picture of the actual meetup place is always (and always will be) in the event description as well. The picture also shows the hosts, so you know who to look for. Hope we get to meet you on one of our future Vegan Education events. Natalia
