100% of the cost of class goes to Habitat for Humanity. The Habitat is setting up with the Suncoast Co-op Kinship Urban Farm a working farm in urban space teaching people how to grow food to help break the poverty and end food insecurity cycle in West Pasco. $60 for 4 hour workshop. 2 for 1- Bring a friend or partner for free! $30 for Suncoast co-op members ($25 yearly fee 1/2 on all workshop events).

Permaculture Designer Eric Stewart will teach a step by step course on how to grow food anywhere to earn money. Using the SPIN (Small Plot Intensive) system Eric will break down how you can earn money out of as little as a 2 foot x 25 foot area or plan an acre or more property to earn income from sustainable organic agriculture.

Eric Stewart has been a Gardener for the past 7 years in Florida receiving a Permaculture design certification in 2011, in 2010 he helped consult on the converting 1/2 acre of parking lot behind the West Pasco Habitat into an edible oasis known as Kinship Urban Farm now where the class will be hosted. Volunteering with the Habitat the past few months raising vegetable production for the season.

Cost of the 3 hour course is $60 ($30 Half Off if you are a member of the Suncoast co-op). You will receive a garden packet full of information, garden planning material, and resources for selling your produce. We will teach you everything you need to earn the course money back and then some. No one will be turned down because of lack of money, if you cannot afford the cost message or talk with us and we will work with you in exchange for volunteering.
