From Susan Danziger of Ziggeo...
"I'm the Founder/CEO of Ziggeo, an API for video recording, submission and playback.  Called a "game-changer" and the "Twilio for video recording," Ziggeo powers video comments, video profiles, video reviews, video messages, and any other video-based submissions.  Our API is mobile-friendly and seamlessly integrates into any site or platform with videos made as private or public as you like.   By enabling user-generated videos, Ziggeo engages audiences, brings communities together and enlightens customers. "

Hope to see you there!

At the Sept meetup there was a request for CRM product recommendations. I just saw this blog article today and felt it was worth sharing.

Thanks again for letting me present Ziggeo's API for video recording/playback. I've heard there was some confusion over our pricing so just to clear it up, it's purely volume-based so no flat fee or minimums -- just a couple of cents a video (you can find pricing at ziggeo.com/pricing -- also includes a cost calculator.) I can be reached at susan[at]ziggeo[dot]com in case you have any questions.

PS I think our new slogan should be: "Delight your audience through video recording"

    • Sveta

The audience would not be delighted if they cannot access audio/video via captions. If you are interested in my consulting services, you can contact me on: www.audio-accessibility.com/contact.

If you have any video advertising questions for your business. Feel free to email [masked]

    September 9

    • Sveta

Video advertising is of no use to a large population of people who relies on quality captions. I recognize you from a recent meetup - if you are interested, we can discuss about my consulting services.

      September 9

  • Sveta

I'm a captioning consultant - I notice a lot of talks about videos. Video accessibility is the main issue. There are 50 millions of deaf and hard of hearing people who are frustrated with the lack of access to audio and video via quality captions. If you are interested in using my consulting services, contact me.

What was the app that rates employees call? "Know tizen"?

    Hello Everyone,

I had an amazing time last night at my first The Product Group meet-up. I've already RSVP'd to the next one and I really look forward to it!

To anyone who's interested in learning more about Knozen - the app that lets users compare their coworkers- please feel free to email me! It's FREE on the App Store (android will be out by next year hopefully), and I would LOVE any feedback you guys have! Thanks again for everything and I look forward to seeing you all agin next month!

Delightful products immerse the user in doing what they need to do that the product itself becomes transparent and almost invisible to them.

Delightful! Insightful! and FULL (beyond capacity of the room).

Following up on the delightful topic: a product can delight you even if it has problems. Example: Citi Bike. It is a product that delights me by providing a fast way to get around lower Manhattan doing something I love, biking. But it has problems like broken docks, need for better balancing etc that if fixed would delight me more.

Check out the Spinlister app - trendy bicycle sharing

      1 · September 4

    • Paul H.

Spinlister is great if you are in a new city and need a bike for a day. Citi bike is more of what I need: point to point bike use and I don't have to worry about locking up a bike and thinking about it all day. For a citi bike it's all about docking it and forgetting about it.

Hi Guys, happy to see you tomorrow. Would love to hear you feedback about my latest product, OVAL - a sensor to protect people and things you love. You can stick it, string it, or drop it in or on any object to detect changes in motion, acceleration, light, moisture, temperature or proximity. Use the sensor also to be notified when people enter a dangerous area or leave a designated one. If a sensor is activated you can receive a text, push notification, email or even a pre-programmed phone call instantly from anywhere in the world, empowering you to take action right away. We are on Indiegogo, please help spread the word, if you like it. http://bit.ly/goval Thanks - Lars

Just checked out the link to KS Oval. Looks great! I know you are initially targeting consumers but it may have many more commercial applications in hospitals, manufacturing where quality and precaution are very essential in day to day work life. Also, I did not see a sensor option for sound? That might be another thing - kid starts crying, or dog starts barking, or car starts beeping etc.

    • Lars Gerd P.

Hi Abhishek, it was great meeting and talking to you tonight. Thanks for your great suggestions for Oval, will for sure evaluate - Lars

Thank you all for making this such a delightful first experience for me. I will definitely try to attend more.

Regarding the topic of 'delightfulness', what was surprising to me was that 'most' people in the meetup seem to define 'delightful product' as something that does what its supposed to do really well. And only a very small few defined it as going 'beyond' what's expected or a feature that's totally unexpected but creates delight...which is what I tend to agree with.

Good group, some "delightful" input, a few worthwhile ideas.

  • Therese L

I RSVP on the app but didn't realize my reservation didn't push through appropriately. I also don't noticed the lack of confirmation email. Is it possible to still attend?

    Sorry, next time.

    Hello!

I am very much looking forward to this meet-up! Just wondering if I can bring a +1?

    September 2

    • Paul H.

You're welcome to bring someone but they have to RSVP to the meetup in order to be added to security's list for the event.

      1 · September 2

    • Marien

Ohh ok. I don't think they have a meet-up account. Is there any way I can send you the name and you can add it to the list?

Anyone can update me on communication access services? Thanks!

I asked for 2 sign language interpreters from SLR (sign language resources - signlanguageresourcesinc.com) and did not hear back fir a while. Would you please update me? As a deaf person and captioning and communication consultant, I need a full and equal access at the event. Thanks!

    August 25

    • Sveta

It's a responsibility of organizers to make their event accessible and to hire quality communication access providers referred to them by a deaf attendee.
