My pleasure, thinking about other folks' problems/issues/questions, helps me get another perspective on how I should be looking at my own.

Thanks, Jody, appreciate your thoughts about this matter. I completely agree with your point of view, and think that this approach, coupled with the assumption that iphone and ipad users would use our product differently, makes me believe that the we should do all we can to launch our iPhone app first, then later introduce the iPad version.

Good session. Great discussion of writing specs. Interesting discussion of the mobile version of the high-end event service.

Finally go my thoughts clear about your ipad/iphone launch question.

You don't do marketing, and due to the nature of your business, I don't think concern over how and when to launch should be a worry for you. Even if you guys get mentioned in TechCrunch, is that really going to increase business, significantly?
What's been working for you is to make your users happy and they will spread the love. Get what ever app out that will make the most senders happy as soon as you can.

I'm a big advocate of pragmatic marketing. In fact I tend to write about it occasionally in this blog I'd love the group's feedback. Best, Jon

It was a really interesting discussion--it is very obvious that the attendees and host are talented individuals and can provide valuable insight.

As a follow up to yesterday's discussion of Paperless Post's challenges. In the situation of difficulty of prioritization between various projects (something Itai brought up) I found the Pragmatic Marketing Tech Product Assessment grid very helpful. It also can be helpful in the go to market decisions. There is a webinar on on this process. I will be happy to share how to apply it in PP's situation.

This was a good meetup particularly due to an interesting product and its challenges. I wish we spent more time brainstorming for the Paperless Post than on the specks and introductions.

    Hi guys,

I attended last time and loved it. Just to bring to your attention there is a New York product camp on sept 17th. You can register to attend this camp or also register to speak at the event.

    Hi everyone,

I am excited to meet all of you this week and chat about Paperless Post. In the meantime, I wanted to share with you an example of our product, which includes two new features:

    - Shareable cards: a card that can be shared (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and collect RSVPs
    - Eventbrite: we recently launched a partnership with Eventbrite, which allows users to link Eventbrite tickets to Paperless Post cards, and vice versa

    Sample card:

    See you soon. Itai
