Maria FelchSmart group, well moderated, and the featured product was intriguing. The group was a little heavy on software and technical product managers, so I hope to hear from people in other industries at future events.

Deborah ElmsFirst time that I made it to the Product Group, and my experience was pretty positive. When I arrived a little late, it was not entirely clear what was going on except that there seemed to be a directed conversation that included many members. That level of participation is rare in meetups I have been to, and that seemed a big plus. It felt very collegial, assuming everyone could have some level of expertise based on their experience which was welcome. I was hoping for some networking and was able to do a bit at the end. Perhaps there was more at the beginning. I'm interested in learning more about the relationship between product managers and marketing, especially in software and tech companies ... if anybody would be willing to chat about that, please reach out.

Brandon McFaddenOnce again very insightful. This weeks discussions of how the service and customer facing side of your product can often be as important as the product and features themselves is a key that can often be missed as you are growing. Remembering that the goal is to create something people will like and enjoy, and that a large part of that is the experience they have when things go wrong will go a long way in helping your customers keep coming back. Making mistakes is ok, not correcting or admitting your mistakes can be devastating.
