TheSmARTsCOOL program for Homeschoolers is an ideal choice for parents who are homeschooling or want to homeschool using a holistic approach. We offer complementing artistic programs and socialization for homeschool children. We also offer a full time program for those parents who want to provide the quality of a homeschooling education to their children but do not have the time to do it.
Our goal is to foster the development of children's character strengths and virtues, to cultivate in them a life-long love for discovery and learning and a profound appreciation of the arts partnered with a strong connection with nature, so they can grow as happy well-rounded successful individuals.
TheSmARTsCOOL uses the Enki curriculum. Enki Education offers a unique and innovative Global Cultures Curriculum in which all academic learning is introduced through the ARTS: Music, Art, Theater, Dance, Cooking, Literature, Gardening.
The Enki curriculum weaves together many diverse elements in order to support its fundamental premise: the central task of education is the integration of body, heart, and mind within each child. The result is the cultivation of educational excellence, confidence & competence.
The Enki Curriculum weaves together many diverse elements. Central among these are:
- multicultural focus of the United Nations International School,
- the integrated arts approach of Waldorf Education,
- the skill building techniques of traditional Western education, and
- the independent project learning of theme studies programs.
- focus on neurological development of Sensory Integration Program
Our curriculum is interdisciplinary, this means that our monthly theme is taught in a collaborative effort from the instructors of different disciplines. At TheSMARTsCOOL children learn easily and joyfully because we teach through the arts and through real life learning experiences. We focus on learning, not on tests.

Why the Enki Curriculum?
The Enki curriculum takes the best from different innovative educational philosophies, methods and approaches. It is flexible and practical and allows us to be creative and let our students be creative as well.
To teach through the arts makes a lot of sense. Children learn naturally fast and easy when they do it through the magic and beauty of the arts. Our classes and activities are always a treat for our children. They truly enjoy to participate, pay attention and show great respect and love for their teachers.
This curriculum respects children's natural neurological processes, needs and personalities and do not fall into what is called the "push-down phenomenon" so common in curriculum-centered education which can create feelings of failure.
How we do it?
We have created a nurturing and stimulating environment where a small group of children benefit from an education that is child-centered and respects children’s natural rhythms, learning styles, interests and level of development.
Through participation in artistic and meaningful activities that are part of life children develop the emotional, social, cognitive, physical skills necessary to achieve academic success.
Children who participate in our programs enjoy dynamic group music classes and piano lessons, multicultural storytelling, hands-on activities ( eco- crafting, art and crafts, cooking, gardening), reading and writing in English and Spanish, math, science, imaginative free play and outdoor explorations and playtime.

Description of Daily Activities: We offer a variety of high quality programs taught by experienced and qualified instructors with masters and doctorate degrees. These activities include:
Comprehensive Music Training: This program follows the Royal Conservatory Musical Development Program. Our music classes offer a comprehensive music instruction that will happily and easily prepare children to higher levels of musical performance. Group music classes are followed by piano individual lessons.
Hands-on Activities: To develop important fine motor skills and their creativity and imagination children will actively engage in real-life art and crafts projects such as cooking, eco-crafting, painting, drawing, modeling, building, sewing, knitting, drawing and gardening.
Multicultural Storytelling: Stories from different countries are great to encourage fantasy, curiosity and transmit important cultural values. Reading aloud stories and recreate them with movement and music is an age appropriate and fun way to introduce children to literacy in English and Spanish.
Movement : Body coordination, stretching and stress management skills that they can use for the rest of their lives to deal with negative emotions and stressful situations in an effective way.
Actor's Studio: Children will discover together in a playful atmosphere the most natural expression of a human being: Pantomime. They will enter a world of illusion, fantasy and imagination. A mime can turn an empty stage into a park, with trees, flowers and birds. Children will tell stories without words.
Free Imaginative Playtime: Playing time has been proved essential for the development of important motor and social skills. Children will enjoy playing indoor and outdoor with other children.
