Drama Therapy Workshops and Groups

**No previous theatre experience necessary. Shy people encouraged to join**

  • Would you like to feel better about yourself?
  • Would you like to improve your relationships with your family, co-workers, or partner?
  • Are you lacking the motivation and confidence needed to achieve your dreams?
  • Are you struggling with depression, social anxiety, addiction, or another painful issue?

Drama therapy combines theater and psychotherapy to help people move out of rigid roles, express emotions, and discover more satisfying ways of relating to loved ones. At our monthly drama therapy workshops, we'll use improvisational theater to explore topics such as:

  • Social Anxiety
  • Dating
  • Addiction
  • Depression
  • Intimacy
  • Self-esteem
  • Motivation
  • Money

Drama therapy techniques will include Developmental Transformations, role-play, psychodrama, and ritual. Our group work will incorporate cognitive-behavioral therapy, exposure therapy, group discussions, attachment theory, and mindfulness meditation.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
