What are your favorite venues to see theater in the Twin Cities?

Small. While I love a nice Guthrie show at times, my faves are the little shops. The Bedlam in it's east-bank incarnation is my gold-standard in terms of style: fun place to grab a bite, chat with a few people, and see then whatever happens to be playing.

What are your price sensitivities?

I'm lucky enough to be fairly open here. Not that I can throw money around, but if it looks interesting, I'll probably find a way :).

Do you prefer professional, community, or educational theater?

Community and smaller-venue professional probably lead the list here.

I have always been a bit of a live-theatre geek and have been happily (re)discovering the twin-cities smaller theatre scene (I miss you Bedlam! ;). Hanging out with others that love theatre would be beyond peachy.
